How do you see the MFD ALLTIME changing your skiing?
Being able to take one pair of skis up the canyon. Hike up Hellgate or Superior for a speedflying lap, then cross the street and tear up Alta the rest of the afternoon, all on the same pair of skis! Pretty stoked about being able to charge with my alpine bindings in the backcountry thanks to the MFD ALLTIME.

Best known for (on-hill):
Playing catch-up with my fast ass skiing friends, it’s my 5th ski season so I’m definitely the under dog of the team.

Best known for (off-hill):
Looking like Jesus, or maybe Techno Viking.  Funny YouTube video if you haven’t seen it.

Favorite Backcountry Run:
Superior!

Do you compete? If so, best finishes:
I do compete, but only in BASE jumping competitions. And no, it’s not a race to see who lands first, that wouldn’t end well. I took third place in the 2009 World BASE Race; third place in the 2011 PRObase tracking race; second place in the Voss Extreme Sports Week accuracy competition; and third in the 2011 World BASE Race.

Best trick in the bag:
Tricks? I don’t know if I have any tricks. I guess flying my parachute down a mountain really fast is pretty cool. Barrell rolls? Kicking the tops of trees? I like surprising cars when we swoop past them on landing when we fly down from Superior. I want to land on top of a car this year.

Goals for 2012 Ski Season:
To improve as both a skier and speedflier as well as combine those two disciplines more effectively. It’s easy to take off from the top of the mountain and fly down completely in the air. We want to start interacting more with the terrain, touching down and skiing with the wing over head. Yea, it’s gonna be awesome.

Favorite Shred Friends:
My Bomb Squad bros! And anyone else we run into on the hill. Having a blast is more fun with friends.

Favorite Film Released in 2011:
Does Transformers 3 count as a film? Oh, you probably mean a ski film. Art of Flight was pretty sick.

Top 5 Songs to Skin Up a Mountain:
Lately Little People—they are pretty good to zone out and hike to, but I’m a fan of Bassnectar, Skrillex, Swollen Members, Incubus, Zion I, Daft Punk…. the list could go on. I’ve got like 20 Pandora stations I like to mix between.

Top 5 Songs to Shred Down a Mountain:
If I listed to music while skiing I would definitely crash. I drove with headphones once in high school and I ran over my neighbor’s mailbox.

If you weren’t a skier, what would you be?
An astronaut.  Ha.

Anything else we should know about you?
I’m single.  Can I give out my phone number on this thing?
